Handel Choir of Baltimore offers two performances of Handel's Messiah with acclaimed guest soloists joining Handel Choir's full chorus and Handel Period Instrument Orchestra, conducted by Artistic Director Melinda O'Neal. "Handel's Messiah, now 271 years old, reaches beyond boundaries of time, nationality and culture in its appeal to audiences. Its text, a skillful compilation of scriptural passages, is dramatic and moving, and Handel's music is simply magical," says O'Neal.
