Joby Talbot's Path of Miracles

Composed in 2005 for the noted ensemble Tenebrae, Path of Miracles is a 60-minute a cappella work inspired by the Camino de Santiago, a Roman Catholic pilgrimage whose popularity has exploded in recent years among believers and non-believers alike. 

Written in seven languages and a variety of singing styles from around the world and across time, Path of Miracles quickly developed a reputation for mesmerizing both singers and audiences.

Handel Choir is thrilled to partner with Children’s Chorus of Maryland and artistic director and conductor Susan Bialek on a program of works to soothe, enthrall and gladden your heart! Patrons will notice a children/childhood motif among the works on the program, including Distler’s Kinderlied für Agnes and Argento’s There Was a Naughty Boy.

TICKETS: $37, $27, $10 full-time students with ID and all patrons 18 or younger.

Please note: There will be no preconcert lecture for this performance. Arian Khaefi and Susan Bialek will introduce the program at the beginning of the concert.
